Ford Taurus SHO Exhaust - 2-1-2 setup

After a few years, and far too many experiments later, my duals finally gave out. I decided it would be far easier to sell the car at a later date if it had an intact exhaust system.

Since I'm quite cheap, I searched around before finding the best price. I ended up with:

Y-Pipe: Catco brand, #4525, http://www.ctconvert.com/, $274
Catback: Dynomax, #17400, http://www.summitracing.com/, $239

Worked out to be about $520 total after shipping.

The Catco part improves on the stock Ford y-pipe. No longer does the rear exhaust dump at a 90o right into the cat.

Your UPS man will hate you. The catback box is almost 6 feet tall, and damn near impossible to move by yourself.

All in all, this really tamed it down. I kind of prefer the sound of the dual exhausts.
