So, the Dremel was vigorously employed, and new shocks were ordered from the
Mid State DeLorean Club.

I also destroyed the passenger side ball joint when seperating it from the steering knuckle. That's why it's removed in this picture...

The front is pleasantly lower now, although you may notice that the drivers side appears lower than the pass. side. That is because the drivers side spring was installed for about 5 days before the pass. side was installed, due to waiting for new balljoint. I thought that this had caused one side to settle a little more than the other, but it never seemed to fully level out. Upon removing both control arms, it appeared that the different ball joints caused the approx 1cm height difference.

The increase in handling, visibility, and appearance made every cut & bruise worth it.
